The Center for Neuromuscular Diseases and ALS  situated in La Timone University Hospital in Marseille consists of several units, each dedicated to a specific field of neuromuscular diseases.

These areas are:

  • Acquired and hereditary neuropathies
  • Myopathies
  • Neuromuscular junction diseases
  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and motor neuron diseases
  • Electroneuromyography

Professor Shahram ATTARIAN, Head of Department, coordinates the healthcare centers of Marseille, Nice, Reunion Island, Lyon, Grenoble, Saint-Etienne and Clermont-Ferrand.
