Valentina Damato currently works as an associate Professor at the University of Florence where she’s interested in pathogenic mechanisms, clinical characteristics and treatment strategies of antibody-mediated neurological conditions, with particular focus on Myasthenia Gravis and Neuromyelitis Optica. She received her medical degree and specialty in Neurology at Catholic University of Sacred Heart and she carried her PhD research at Nuffield Department of Clinical Neuroscience of Oxford.
