…PRESENTERS: Dr. Fernanda Fortunato (University Hospital St Anna, Ferrara, Italy)
Dr. Fernanda Fortunato is a Medical Geneticist specialized at the University of Padua, Italy. She is a consultant at the Medical Genetics Unit of Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria S. Anna in Ferrara and a PhD student in Medical, Omics and Oncological Sciences at the University of Ferrara.
Her work focuses on genetic counseling and molecular analysis of hereditary neuromuscular disorders, with particular expertise in dystrophinopathies and emerging therapeutic approaches. She is actively involved in the ERN EURO-NMD network, where she has been strongly engaged in the implementation of the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) across the network.
