Prof. Andoni Echaniz-Laguna, MD, PhD is a Professor of Neurology at Université Paris-Saclay and a Hospital Practitioner within Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP). He practices at Bicêtre Hospital (Hôpital de Bicêtre), one of the major teaching hospitals of AP-HP located in the Paris area.
His clinical and research work focuses on the diagnosis, management, and pathophysiology of neuromuscular diseases, including genetic myopathies and peripheral neuropathies. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary care and contributes to national and international research projects aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Prof. Echaniz-Laguna has authored numerous scientific publications and regularly participates in academic teaching and international conferences, contributing to the advancement of neuromuscular medicine.
