This final episode of the EURO-NMD Webinar Series on Dysimmune and inflammatory neuropathies will be an interactive session featuring both a clinician (Dr Filip Eftimov) and a patient (Patrizia Garzena, CIDP-ONLUS Italia and EPODIN), who will share their experience and offer a comprehensive look at diagnostic challenges, holistic management, treatment considerations, and vaccination. It will conclude with a live Q&A to allow the audience to ask their questions and engage with the speakers, moderated by Jean-Phillipe Plançon (EPODIN).
Filip Eftimov is a neurologist at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers with a special interest in neuromuscular disorders, particularly inflammatory neuropathies. His research focuses on chronic inflammatory polyneuropathies and disease-overarching autoimmunity. He is the Principal Investigator of INCbase, an international registry in CIDP. He has contributed to several randomised controlled trials in CIDP (PREDICT, PATH, FORCIDP, DRIP, ADHERE) and has been the coordinator of two investigator-initiated multicenter RCTs (IOC and OPTIC trial). He also serves as a board member of the Inflammatory Neuropathy Consortium and the Dutch Neuromuscular Center.
