We are excited to announce the upcoming Summer School on Multidisciplinary Management of Neuromuscular Diseases co-organized by EURO-NMD and Filnemus, which will be held on 12-14 September 2024!

The program will bring together experts from various disciplines to explore the latest advancements and best practices in the field of neuromuscular disease management. Through a series of workshops, lectures, and interactive sessions, participants will gain invaluable insights into the multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination.

Arriving by Air

You will arrive at Marseille Provence airport. It is served by more than 170 airlines from over 30 companies, with direct flights to 128 destinations in 36 countries. The airport is 27 km from the centre of Marseille.


Car

Driving to Marseille, you will probably take one of the three motorways to enter in the city.

  • Northern motorway (A7) cross the north of the city and lead close to the Marseille Saint-Charles train station. It is the southern terminus of the major north-south motorway (linking Lille to Marseille via Paris and Lyon).
  • Littoral  motorway (A55) from Martigues runs along the port area before crossing the Jolette district via the footbridge and ending up at the north- western and of the Vieux-port.
  • Eastern motorway (A50) From Toulon crosses the eastern districts and ends at Menpenti.

Public Transport

Metro line

The metro line of Marseille is managed by the Régie des Transports de Marseille called RTM, who are also in charge of the bus and tram network. To date, there are two metro lines running in Marseille, linking north to south and east to west: line M1 and line M2. The metro ticket price is set at 1.70€. The metro network generally runs every day from 5am to midnight.

Tramway

The city of Marseille has 3 tramway lines: lines T1, T2 and T3. The network is managed by the Régie des Transports Métropolitains (RTM).

Marseille’s tramway is an excellent way to get around the city. The network covers key areas of the city, offering convenient connectivity for residents and visitors alike. Streetcars generally run from 5:00 to midnight, with a frequency of approximately 5 to 10 minutes on weekdays and 10 to 15 minutes at weekends. Timetables may vary slightly depending on the day of the week and the time of year.
