The Neuromuscular Center of the University Medical Center Goettingen provides highest level of patient care for diagnosis and treatment of all Neuromuscular disorders in adults and children. The Neuromuscular center is a leading center in Germany, especially in the field of myositis and hereditary neuropathies. The service is provided in a highly interdisciplinary fashion: Associated Departments include Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Paediatric Neurology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Human Genetics and others. Apart from diagnosis and treatment for Neuromuscular patients, the Center is highly active in clinical, basic and translational research and in all levels of education.
