Work in the neuromuscular field since 1985. Since 2007 Head of the centre of pediatric neuromuscular diseases at the v. Hauner children hospital, University of Munich.
Fields of interest: SMA, muscular dystrophies, congenital myopathies, hereditary neuropathies, mitochondrial disorders.
Involved in many international therapeutic trials in the field of SMA, DMD and congenital myopathies.
