Jonathan Baets

Jonathan Baets is a neurologist and neuromuscular specialist with expertise in electrophysiology and muscle-nerve histopathology. He trained in Antwerp and London Queen Square and obtained a PhD in medical sciences at the University of Antwerp in 2011. He is the medical director of the Neuromuscular reference Center of the Antwerp University Hospital. His research focus is on molecular genetic studies of various neuromuscular diseases including Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, hereditary myopathies and spastic ataxias.
