Alicia Alonso-Jiménez

Dr. Alicia Alonso-Jiménez is originally from Spain and graduated from the Complutense University of
Madrid. She then followed her neurology training at the University Hospital of Salamanca. She
continued her studies in Barcelona, where she completed a fellowship in
neuromuscular disorders and EMG in the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. She also worked in the Neurophysiology department in the Hospital Clínic i Provincial. Since July 2019 she works in the Neuromuscular Reference Center at the University Hospital of Antwerp. In April 2022 she defended her thesis in the field of muscle MRI in the study of neuromuscular disorders at Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona.
