Adele D’Amico MD, PhD, is a neurologist specialised in paediatric neuromuscular disorders working at the bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, Rome, Italy
She is the head of the Neuromuscular Unit at Bambino Gesù Hospital and her main areas of research activities include clinical and myopathological aspects of childhood neuromuscular disorders
She is actively involved in international SMA registry (ISMAC) and in the Italina Network for DMD
She has participated in numerous clinical interventional trials for DMD and SMA (Phase I-II and III)
