I am a molecular geneticist with 15+ years of experience in deciphering pathogenic mechanisms underlying hereditary musculoskeletal disorders. Currently, I am the Principal Investigator of Myofin Research Group at Folkhälsan Research Center (Helsinki, Finland), that covers a wide area of research in neuromuscular disorders, from fundamental myology to genetic and clinical studies.
