The University Hospital Raymond-Poincaré (also referred as to ‘Garches’) is part of the Hospital Trust of the Greater Paris area (APHP= Assistance-Publique Hôpitaux de Paris). At the time of the ERN application, Garches belonged to a consortium composed of four other departments/hospital involved in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders, namely Necker Hospital (neuromuscular), Créteil-Mondor Hospital (neuromuscular), Hopital Marin de Hendaye (neuromuscular) and Necker Hospital (mitochondrial). This consortium covers all neuromuscular diseases and is strongly engaged in translational research at the national and international levels.
