University Hospital Bonn

The University Hospital Bonn (UKB) runs a Department of Neuromuscular Diseases including a neuromuscular diagnostic and research laboratory and a neuromuscular outpatient clinic associated to the Center for Neurology (the Neuromuscular Center Bonn). The Neuromuscular Center Bonn is certified by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Muskelkranke DGM e.V., Germany (www.dgm.org) and constitutes a sub-center of the Neuromuscular Center North Rhine of the DGM e.V. The regular meetings of health care professionals and members of the Neuromuscular Center North Rhine constitute an officially accredited quality circle of the Ärztekammer Nordrhein (General Medical Council for the Northern Rhine area, Germany). The Neuromuscular Center Bonn is part of the Bonn Center for Orphan Disease Research and Therapy (ZSEB), Germany (zseb.uni-bonn.de). The UKB and the Department of Neuromuscular Diseases including the neuromuscular diagnostic and research laboratory are third-party certified by the TÜV Süd, Germany.
