EURO-NMD is proud to announce the Kick-off Meeting of the European Clinical Research Network for Myotonic Dystrophies (DMs), taking place in Munich on 14–15 April 2025.
This important gathering marks a major milestone in advancing collaborative clinical research for myotonic dystrophies across Europe. The meeting will bring together leading experts, clinicians, and researchers with the shared goal of accelerating therapeutic development and improving care for patients living with DM.
Overarching Objectives of the Network

Facilitate clinical trial implementation across Europe by creating a unified and collaborative framework.

Contribute to the US-based DM-CRN DM1 natural history database to deepen our understanding of disease progression and support global research efforts.

Enhance collaboration among European DM experts, fostering knowledge exchange and resource sharing.

Standardize research and clinical protocols to improve patient outcomes across the continent.
In this spirit of collaboration, we are delighted to share that Antonio Atalaia, Clinical Advisor at EURO-NMD, will deliver a dedicated talk on the EURO-NMD Registry and its pivotal role in supporting international research and data harmonization.
