The EURORDIS Black Pearl Awards will return on Monday, 15 February 2027, bringing together the rare disease community in Brussels and online to celebrate outstanding achievements and commitment across Europe and beyond.
Organised annually by EURORDIS – Rare Diseases Europe as part of the activities surrounding Rare Disease Day, the Black Pearl Awards recognise people living with rare diseases as well as patient advocates, organisations, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, companies and other individuals whose work makes a meaningful difference to the rare disease community.
Since 2012, the Awards have highlighted dedication, innovation and collaboration across the rare disease field, while providing a unique opportunity for the community to come together, share experiences and celebrate progress.
The event will once again take place in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend the ceremony and gala dinner in Brussels or join online from anywhere in the world.
