The 28th Congress of the Medical-Scientific Advisory Board of the German Society for Muscular Diseases (DGM) will take place from 13–15 January 2027 in Mannheim, Germany, under the motto “Knowledge moves.”
The congress will bring together experts from research, clinical practice and patient care to discuss the latest developments in neuromuscular medicine, including advances in basic science, innovative therapeutic approaches, new diagnostic possibilities and the growing role of digitalisation.
A strong focus will be placed on translating scientific progress into responsible, patient-centred and sustainable clinical practice, while encouraging exchange across different neuromuscular disease areas and disciplines.
The programme will also include the presentation of several scientific awards recognising outstanding achievements and emerging researchers in the field.
