Pegah Masrori
- Neurologist

Dr Pegah Masrori is a neurologist and clinician-scientist at Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc and UCLouvain, Brussels, Belgium. Her work focuses on the intersection of neuroimmunology and neurodegeneration, with a particular interest in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). She obtained her PhD in Neuroscience at KU Leuven and VIB, where she investigated neuroinflammatory and glial mechanisms in ALS. Her current research aims to better understand the biological heterogeneity of the ALS–FTD spectrum through the integration of clinical phenotyping, fluid biomarkers, neuroimaging, and neuropathology. By combining fundamental neuroscience with translational and clinical research, she seeks to unravel the mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration and to identify biologically meaningful disease subtypes that may improve patient stratification and future therapeutic development. Dr Masrori is actively involved in national and international collaborative initiatives dedicated to advancing biomarker research and precision medicine in ALS, FTD, and related neurodegenerative disorders.
