Main clinical and research interests: in peripheral nerve disorders, inflammatory disorders of the central nervous system and clinical Neuroimmunology in general.

Main clinical activity in Clinical Neurology, Neurophysiology and Neuropathology.

My research works started with remyelination of the central nervous system and have moved to peripheral nerve disorders, especially immune-mediated neuropathies, neuropathies associated with hematologic disorders and small fiber neuropathies.

Experience in clinical studies on Multiple Sclerosis and Peripheral Neuropathy for 15 years as Investigator or PI (institutional and industrial studies)

Ongoing studies in the department:
Pleo-CMT: phase III study on CMT1A (15 patients enrolled)
Biomark: biomarkers of therapeutic response of IVIg in CIDP (coordinator and 1 patient enrolled)
