Prof Kristina Haugaa
| Kristina Hermann Haugaa, MD, PhD, FESC, Center Director of ProCardio Center for Innovation, Department of Cardiology, Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet. She is also a Professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, University of Oslo and at Karolinska .
She has over 250 international scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and was awarded with an Early Career Award in June 2018 for her excellent research and leadership skills. Dr. Haugaa is a board certified specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. She finished her PhD thesis in 2010 which included electromechanical studies in patients with cardiac genetic disorders and patients after myocardial infarction. Her research is focused on developing risk stratifying tools for life threatening ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. |
