Dr. Kalliopi Sofou is working as a senior consultant in Pediatric Neurology and Associate Professor at the Department of Pediatrics, the Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital, Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her areas of expertise are mitochondrial and neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Sofou is the head supervisor of three Ph.D. research projects on the field of muscular dystrophies and spinal muscular atrophy.
