Fiore Manganelli

Fiore Manganelli graduated as MD at Federico II University of Naples, Italy in 1996 and got board certification in Neurology at the same University in 2002. He was Researcher at the Department of Neurology of Federico II University of Naples from 2008 to 2015, Associate Professor from October 2015 to September 2108, and currently he is Full Professor of Neurology at the same Department and Chief of the Neurophysiology Unit. He is president of the Bachelor degree of Neurophysiopathology Techniques and he is member of PhD board in Neuroscience at Federico II University of Naples. He is member of the Italian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SINC) and he was secretary of SINC from 2016 to 2018. He is member of Italian Association of Peripheral Nervous System (ASNP) and of Peripheral Nerve Society (PNS) and currently he is secretary-treasurer of ASNP. His main clinical skills are the neurophysiology techniques and his main research fields are the acquired and the hereditary neuropathies. He published 184 peer-reviewed manuscripts (Scopus Author ID: 7003795223; citation number = 2801; H index= 28) focused on hereditary and acquired neuropathies and on neurophysiological techniques. Prof. Fiore Manganelli and his group actively cooperates with the Italian Charcot-Marie-Tooth and Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy networks and he participated as co-investigator or unit-coordinator on funded and non-funded multicenter projects.
