Gorka Fernandez Garcia de Eulate

Dr. Gorka Fernández Garcia de Eulate is a neurologist specialized in neuromuscular diseases at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, AP-HP Sorbonne Université in Paris. Committed to both patient care and research, he has a strong clinical focus on CMT and neurometabolic disorders. Actively involved in international networks, he is secretary of the European CMT Research Association (ECRA), member of the advisory committee of TREAT-NMD, member of the ClinGen CMT Gene Curation Expert Panel (CMT-GCEP) and former member of the Peripheral Nerve Society (PNS) Junior Committee. He holds a PhD in cellular and molecular biology and his research at the Center of Research in Myology (UMR974) focusses on modeling neuromuscular and neurometabolic disorders involving peripheral motor neurons, combined with the application of different metabolic approaches.
