Cécile Rouzier

Cécile Rouzier is a geneticist at Nice University Hospital (France). She is a medical doctor and obtained her PhD in 2012 while working on mitochondrial diseases with mitochondrial DNA instability in the team of Professor Véronique PAQUIS FLUCKLINGER. Since 2024, she has been coordinating the Reference Center for Mitochondrial Diseases.

Dr. Rouzier’s main research focus is on developing new technologies to reduce the diagnostic odyssey for patients and to develop therapeutic strategies for mitochondrial disorders.
