Collaborator and Clinical Investigator as a Pediatric Neurologist at the Neurorehabilitation Unit of the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital.
I graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2003 and completed my postdoctoral training in Pediatric Neurology in 2008 at the Catholic University of Rome. Since 2013, I have been a senior researcher at the Neurorehabilitation Unit of OPBG. My main research interests revolve around the diagnosis and rehabilitation aspects of pediatric neurological and neuromuscular diseases. I have presented at numerous conferences in the pediatric neurologic field and have several publications on clinical trials in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases.
My current research focuses on understanding the impact of neurological impairment in neuromuscular disorders. I combine my expertise in clinical assessment with novel therapies and develop outcome measures and clinical trial readiness. I have extensive experience in observational and treatment clinical trials related to various pediatric neurological diseases, neuromuscular disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.
