Dr. Isabella Zanella is Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine, University of Brescia, and Senior Consultant in Clinical Chemistry and Biochemistry at ASST-Spedali Civili di Brescia (Medical Genetics Laboratory, Diagnostic Department).

Her main interests in the field of genetics/genomics are neurodegenerative disorders (in particular motor neuron diseases, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s diseases, hereditary neuropathies) and disorders of iron metabolism.
