Survey on Hypoglycemia Practices in Pediatrics
Dear Colleague,
We invite you to participate in a survey on the diagnosis and management of hypoglycemia with unknown etiology in children beyond the neonatal period.
Current guidelines and clinical practices vary across centers and specialties, particularly regarding diagnostic work-up, treatment strategies, and the classification of hypoglycemia. Through this survey, we aim to map current practices and identify areas of consensus and variation.
This project is initiated as a MetabERN and Endo-ERN collaboration.
Who can participate?
Healthcare professionals involved in the care of children with hypoglycemia.
If you know a relevant colleague who has not received this survey through an ERN, please let us know by email or in the comment field at the end of the survey.
Survey duration
Approximately 30 minutes.
Why participate?
Your contribution will help improve our understanding of current clinical practice and support future collaborative efforts to harmonize care for children with hypoglycemia. All participants will be offered group co-authorship in the resulting scientific publication.
Deadline for participation
15 September 2026.
