The 2nd European Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Specialists Conference will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from October 23 to 25, 2025.
Organized jointly by the European CMT Federation (ECMTF), the University of Antwerp (host institution), and the newly established European CMT Research Association (ECRA), this event builds on the success of the first CMT Specialists Conference held in Paris in 2023. Its mission is to stimulate collaborative research, exchange knowledge, and foster innovation in the field of inherited neuromuscular diseases, with a strong focus on CMT.
The meeting is expected to bring together around 150 participants, including clinicians, scientists, patient advocacy representatives, industry partners, and policy-makers. The program will feature two days of plenary and poster sessions, covering all aspects of CMT: from basic research and genetics to clinical care, therapy development, outcome measures, and clinical trials. Special attention will be given to data sharing, AI applications, and the mentorship of junior researchers.
Further details on the program, registration, venue, and pre-conference webinars are available on the official website.
