Massimo Marra

Massimo Marra suffers from rare peripheral neuropathy disease. He founded the Italian Association against Dysimmune Neuropathies in 2012 because there were problems with access to treatment in Italy. He promotes several information and awareness campaigns, awards and grants for young researchers and research on quality of life. He is interested in patient self-monitoring projects, wearable technology and registry. He believes that technology allows people to be informed, and that being informed is essential to exercise one’s rights. Technology enables rights.
