Dr Matthias Baumann

Matthias Baumann, MD and PhD, is head of the division of Paediatric Neurology and Lecturer in Paediatrics at the Department of Paediatrics, Medical University Innsbruck, Austria. He is a medical doctor and specialized in Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology in Wolfsburg, Göttingen and Kassel, Germany. He is member of the European Paediatric Neurology Society, Muscular Dystrophy Network (MD-NET) and the TREAT-NMD Network. His research interests include the genetic characterization of neuromuscular diseases, treatment and care for patients with neuromuscular disorders.
