The CPMS 2.0 launch instructions:
It is with great pleasure and appreciation for your work that we officially announce that you are, as of today, part of CPMS 2.0
To ensure a smooth transition, please follow these guidelines:
- Continue existing patient discussions in the OLD CPMS (which remains fully functional until the migration of existing patients) and close the panels upon completion of the discussion.
- Enrol all new patients, including those from Ukrainian hospitals, exclusively in CPMS 2.0.
- Conduct all discussions for new patients in CPMS 2.0.
- Do not add new users to the current CPMS; grant them access only in CPMS 2.0.
By adhering to these rules, we believe you’ll streamline your workflow and enhance your user experience.
Moreover, by joining CPMS 2.0, your ERN is now able to help facilitate Ukrainian healthcare providers to seek advice on Ukrainian rare or complex disease patients. We are transmitting the message to the Ukrainian hub for rare diseases, and they may be in touch with you and your teams for the next operational steps in this regard.
Finally, we have produced a separate short FAQ document, attached, exclusively addressing questions related to the migration process.
You are pioneers in this new era of cross-border medical discussions for rare patient cases. Congratulations on being the first to embrace the new system!
Kind regards,
João de Sousa
