The University Hospital Heidelberg is a reknown international center of expertise in many areas. Patients with neuromuscular disorders are seen in our certified neuromuscular center in all age ranges. Our services cover the whole range from a prenatal consultation to guided birth over childhood and adolescence care in our center for childhood and adolescent medicine to a specialized care in adulthood in our department of neurology. We have implemented a professional transition model within the neuromuscular center. Our main research focus are precision medicine and diagnostics in children and adults with neuromuscular disorders. We conduct several clinical and multicentric studies in our quality controlled and certified clinical trial units .
