The ‘Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino’ is one of the largest University Hospitals in Italy. Since July 1st, 2012 a regional act unified four Regional Hospitals with different specializations: Molinette General Hospital, Sant’Anna Hospital for Women, Regina Margherita Hospital for pediatric patients and CTO Hospital for trauma and orthopedics. All together, it is a third-level Referral Center for the North-Western Region of Italy and guarantees highly specialized and integrated diagnostic processes, therapy and health assistance for adults, women and children in many fields, especially for rare disease and in particular for neuromuscular disorders.
