David Stephenson

David Stephenson is the Neuromuscular Policy and Engagement Officer at Muscular Dystrophy UK. He works with families, clinicians, National Health Service commissioners and other stakeholders to increase the number of neuromuscular specialists supporting people with muscle-wasting conditions. He also works to influence health policy on a European, national, regional and local level on behalf of people with neuromuscular conditions. In addition, David is involved in driving forward the education and upskilling of health professionals as well as playing a leading role in Muscular Dystrophy UK’s work to improve access to vital respiratory equipment and expert emergency care.
