EAN/PNS Guideline on diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy – open for members comment

25 May – 4 June 2021

In order to ensure high quality of European Academy of Neurology guidelines, EAN’s Guideline Production Group publishes draft guidelines on the EAN website for 15-days member comment period.

The purpose of making the guideline available to EAN members prior to publication, is to solicit feedback to the guideline task force which have developed the guideline.

The new European Academy of Neurology/Peripheral Nerve Society Guideline on diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy is now available online: https://www.ean.org/research/ean-guidelines/guidelines-open-for-members-comment until June 4, 2021 for you to comment on.

If there are any comments you wish to put forward for consideration, please send them to scientific@ean.org.

Kindly note, that you have to log in to your MyEAN account in order access the website content.

Most guidelines are not able to address all question which may be relevant to a guideline topic, and addition of more questions at this stage of a guideline is almost never possible. Therefore, we especially ask members to consider other aspects such as whether important evidence is missing, interpretation of the evidence including the GRADE process, unclear recommendations or formulations etc.
