Euro-NMD successfully applied for the 2020 CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) Telecom eHealth Call, a flagship-funding programme of the Europe 2020 Strategy in the sectors of transport, energy and telecommunications. This new CEF grant, which has started in this beginning of month for an 18-month period, builds on the activities of the previous 2018.

Euro-NMD successfully applied for the 2020 CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) Telecom eHealth Call, a flagship funding programme of the Europe 2020 Strategy in the sectors of transport, energy and telecommunications. This new CEF grant, which has started in this beginning of month for an 18-month period, builds on the activities of the previous 2018. It will fund the continuation of the ERN Core Services (Clinical Patient Management System and ERN Collaborative Platform) and the development of additional technical solutions that are expected to enhance the performance of the ERNs. The funded proposal will focus on four main activities:

  1. Continued provision of IT technical support to the ERN Core Services.
  2. Support to the mandatory data collection for the ERN monitoring system.
  3. Set up of a EURO-NMD educational platform using Moodle and develop a structured educational plan.
  4. Monitoring and impact assessment of training activities
